Lock n’ Pop is owned by Key Tech Corporation, founded in 1965 as a supplier of specialty chemicals to the paper and pulp industry. As Key Tech began expanding its product lines in the paper converting industry (turning paper into boxed or multi-walled bags), it developed a "surface frictionalizing (fractionizing) technology" as a forerunner of the Lock n’ Pop pallet unitizing system.
Today, Lock n’ Pop is the world market leader in environmental unitizing, having unitized more than 200 million pallets.
Based in Lynnwood, Wash., Lock n’ Pop concentrates all of its efforts into the marketing of the Lock n’ Pop systems worldwide. Lock n’ Pop is distributed in Canada, Europe, Great Britain, South America, Mexico, Central America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China and the Middle East.
